Accessories 2 Seido Batteries- 2 different results

The second Seido battery I got for another Inc manages to stay at 100% full charged for quite a bit after unplugging and using it constantly while the original battery would almost immediately dip into the 90s. I'm beginning to believe that my initial Seido battery is faulty.

Or the phones are setup differently.... check what's using the battery, I'll bet you are shocked at the results between the two.

I took the newer/good battery and put it into my Inc to see if the results are the same and the newer battery is holding at 98% after 45 minutes when the old one would be in the low90s/upper 80s at this point. No setting altered.

I was thinking about this, then came back here. Good test.

Are there differences on the batteries from seidio? Here's a sample from mine:

1. lighter than the stock battery?
2. HHRV in the upper right corner
3. BASI17HHRV in the barcode below.
4. 1/5 of the way down from the top: Product No.: BASI17HHRV

Bottom side:
1. This side down marking
2. 20100520 on the bar code.

That's mine... I got it last Friday. I'm troubleshooting some updates with battery reporting for "cell standby", but about to revert/uninstall a few apps, then hard reset.

I do think my first Seidio has problems. I just got my replacement today, will report back in a few days with the new replacement.

I'm expecting my replacement within the next couple days. I'm hoping I get better resulted with this one. The one i have now only lasts me 6 to 7 hours at most. On average I only get 4 to 5 hours which is very disappointing.

I just filed for a replacement with Amazon for my first one after seeing the way this new battery has performed in this short period.

I am at 97% after 1 hour. Stayed at 100% for 8 minutes of continuous use to provoke the battery to discharge. I also didn't even turn off the phone after hitting 100% to continue charging. This battery is a winner. The first is a dud. I will have extensive results posted after using it for the day tomorrow.

ok I can answer alot in one sentance about the difference between the 2. if you want to accuratly test then you need to charge both batteries while phone is off and 1 hour after light turns green. It isnt the battery it is our phones chargers. Let me know if you continue to have problems and I will try to help.

I would tend to agree with you except I routinely charge my phone (battery) without powering down, via various methods; HTC phone charger, MicroUSB cable that came with my Blue tooth headset and Plantronics AC charger and they all gave the same results. As we all have seen, it immediately drops into the 90's from 100% and then tapers off and discharges normally.

Until this morning (7:00am) that is when I took my new, replacement Incredible off charge for the first time...It maintained 100% for about 25 minutes or so.

I know this is not scientific of course as everybody's usage is different, but I have a hard time pointing to the charger when I got very different results with the same battery in two different phones...

Mine should be here tomorrow. I've also noticed any other charger besides the Htc one didn't charge the phone completely and takes forever to charge just a little bit.
