Hello,
This morning I rooted my phone for the first time and flashed it with Fresh 2.1.2. I want to say thanks to the stickies at the top and all the XDA devs for the hard work and time spent on doing this for everyone. But, I do have a couple questions. (I apologize if these have been asked/answered, but I searched and couldn't find answers)
1. When I press the menu button twice to unlock my phone it seems to automatically bring up the menu from the homescreen. I'm used to pressing the menu button twice rather than sliding the lockscreen down and I don't need the menu to come up after unlocking my phone. Is there a way to disable this?
2. I have disabled the haptic feedback and it still seems to vibrate when I text. I have also gone under HTC_IME and disabled it there. I'm at a loss and if anyone could give advice I would appreciate it.
3. I can no longer find Handcent SMS under the market. I'm not a big fan of the built-in text program. When I do a search for Handcent all I get are the font packs, but not the base program. Has it perhaps been removed for updating? I have also tried using the barcode scanner option to go directly to it, but it says that it doesn't exist. Is there somewhere else I can download it and install it?
Overall I am pleased with rooting my phone. It seems to run a bit faster than Sprint's 2.1. Thanks in advance for your help and time in answering.
