Hey everyone, thought I'd introduce myself. I just signed up and this is my first official post. I say official b/c I've posted a couple of times recently on various articles regarding the Droid under the name "K". Before the big news about the Droid I was questioning multi-touch. More recently after seeing what I consider somewhat disappointing videos of somewhat laggy performance my posts have been more to the tune of "bring us the Passion!" Unfortunately it's a tune I'm still worriedly singing on the release day of the Droid and Eris. I searched and found a post someone left discussing this so I'm going to jump over there to post more! A little praise before I go though: this website is incredible and has been THE source for information about the recent android phones. Thanks for being on the front of things and so consistently awesome.

Questioning multi-touch? Lagy performance? Blaspheme!

:)

Welcome!

Our app has had multi-touch since way back in the 1.0 days. Ironically, that "older" implementation isn't working so well on 2.0, but we'll have that fixed very soon.

Our experience with the Droid is that is is ROCKING fast, and lags on nothing except, strangely enough, the home screen--that's just a bit 'jerky.'

Looking forward to reading more of your posts.
