I have been using my evo since friday and yesturday I turned on my nexus one and man did that thing feel small. It's a 3.7 inch screen and it felt tiny. How can u go back to any other phone after using this screen.? Anyone else try another phone ?

I agree and just messed with the EVO for a 30 minutes at BB yesterday (other times, just ten minutes). Still, using the device with one hand is awkward and the display looks pinkish and slightly washed out when compared to the Inc and Moto Droid. I expected the Moto Droid to have the same pinkish tone to whites, but it does not. BB employees in Lexington also noticed when all three were compared together.

You get used to the EVO's display and do not notice this too much. I have tested three EVO's now and can confirm the "pink". I wonder if this is a trait for 65K color LCD displays?

Seems the "perfect" display size would be a 4" super amoled. Nice compromise for size and better display tech :)

Nice ones are coming, but my Inc will have to do- for a year, anyways. Wife would kill me, have me reanimated through voodoo and kill me again- if I bought another before that.

I have had an Evo for three weeks now and still in my trial period. I love the phone but debating on taking it back and just getting an ipod touch since I do most of my web browsing at home. Decided to try my wife's touch to compare side by side. After one minute, there is absolutely NO WAY I could go back to a screen that small. And the ipod touch colors were washed out no where as bright as the Evo. Easy choice here.

Your are correct that it is bigger, but comparing them side by side to Inc makes the EVO look pink & washed out and weak blacks. Wonder if the Droid X will have the same issues?

Curious how the newer screens look. Reports are the new screens replaced the pink with a blueish tint.

Still, if I do not compare them, I get used to the EVO and everything is good in about ten minutes :)

I put the Evo next to a buddy's Iphone 4 yesterday and we both laughed! We laughed even harder when we compared playing youtube videos. He actually had to put the Iphone down to to get a good enough connection to search Youtube. He's a good sport, I have to admit.

I hate the iPhone's premise and the fascist level of industry control by Jobs, but aside from call drop and signal issues that fanboys are trying to ignore (sad), the new display blows the EVO, Inc, N900 and Droid away. The sharpness and quality is great.

At&t and iPhone sux, but the display does not ;)
