  Got it to work with the pop3... go figure, one day it works and the next it stops. It's more of a yahoo issue.. they don't want to allow mobile access unless you pay for premium account

  try imap.next.yahoo.com same port etc
  
  then for smtp use smtp.mobile.yahoo.com
  
  that should work.
