    mobile hot spot - so there is a $30 fee but will there be alternatives?

    So it seems there is a $30 fee for mobile hotspot feature. Are there any apps that will allow this to happen for free if you root? I know there is USB tethering for free, but I want the wifi hotspot ability. WM has this through wmwifirouter... wonder why Android can't do it too?
