  • Thanks. I played with that a lil but was afraid to do too much cause I dont wanna fry the LITTLE processor in this thing. lol. Is KKmod 2.5 not the latest? What are my limits on the "I/O Scheduler" and "CPU Governor"? ...and what exactly do they do? I'm a bit of a noob here, yet very interested in all this and wanna try to master this stuff and be writing shit for this stuff one day. lol. Just gotta get thru the basics first. Also, I've read alot about Shabbymod and all this other stuff and was curious bout that if you could maybe gimme some insight on all of this other stuff possible. Last thing and I'll leave you alone for a min, I have dropped significantly in signal strength after all this and been reading up on that sorta problem and don't know exactly what to do here. Mucho Thank You-o. lol
2 things, first, install the latest koumamod.apk over the old one in /system/app. if you have trouble with that, don't worry about it, it's not necessary, it's just nice to have the latest and greatest. :)

2nd, this is the performance boost, open Voltage Control, it should have came with CTmod, if not, get it from the market, it's free.
set min to a value a bit higher than the minimum, so like 120 to 320, somewhere in there, too high and your battery will suffer.
Set max all the way to the right, 946.
click apply changes. press the menu button, then Save as boot settings.
That should give you your biggest boost.
also, after reboots, and especially after flashing CTmod from scratch, you'll be a little sluggish for a bit. there is a lot of stuff happening in the first 5 minutes or so of a boot, and a fresh install spends many times that creating files it needs as it goes, that slows things down, once you're up and running, as things dial themselves in, it speeds up tremendously.
