I still haven't figured it out. I connected once a couple of days ago and got the USB connected in the notification bar (for the first time in months) but it still was not recognized by the computer. I just went out and bought an adapter for my micro USB card so I could pop it into my card reader on my laptop and transfer files that way. Not as easy but gets the job done. I am wondering if it is a bad USB connection on my phone.
