Hi! I came across one of your 2000 or so posts, and am a little troubled by your not having been able to move your Palm calendar stuff to your Droid,,, unless you actually eventually did, and I didn't see that post. I haven't been hanging out here much for a while, but got started on this website when working on my migration from my Treo. I did sucessfully migrate all my calendar data and contact info, so I'm pretty sure it can be done. I had lotsa data too. I have slowly, cautiously, hesitantly become a bit of a fan of the app CalenGoo. It is the best calendar since my old Palms, Treos, Handsprings. One thing I did to get my calendar stuff moved from my Palm Desktop to Google calendars was breaking things up into categories. Just some info / ideas for you.
