Extended controls widget - no mobile network toggle

I'm not cracking up am I? Very useful widget from the store and it has toggles for APN and 2G/3G but nothing that turns my mobile network itself on and off. I'm currently using the HTC widget switch for the task but I'd rather it was part of Extended Controls.

Should I email the creator or does someone know something I don't?

Mobile data needs to be on for the "Extended controls APN" to disable it. Once disabled, it should be able to enable/disable as you need it.

Connected, removed stock widget and re-added ext controls and it works. I feel like a noob but much thanks.

Does it uses any mobile data while its switched on even though the Apn is deactivated?

It can't, as the APN settings need to be proper for the mobile to communicate data.

Extended Controls Widget toggles data by changing the APN name in your settings.

Hi guys,

I have exactly the same problem and tried the above mentioned.

The problem is that the mobile data/APN switch is not working. It renamed the APN but does not toggle on/off.

I Have renamed the APN back to the original and reinstalled Extended Controls...but nothing helps.

Hopefully you can provide some insight.
