Root As of Today... What Rom and Kernel are YOU running?

Well i actually just ran Froyo FRF91 SS v4.4 and No disrespect, but i could keep it, its responsive but free memory never went over about 60-70. and i was getting bootloops with the stock kernel. I decided to go back to Kangerades 5.09 with the PS3 250-1250. anyone else give this rom a run?

Yeah, I tried it, but booting was untolerably slow compared to what I got used to with Kangerade.

really its up to you to decide whats best. IMO i think pete does a damn good job. There is also CyanogenMod. Sapphire is pretty good. there are so many. you just have to find what works for you. and as for Kernals its also preferance. And your phone. every phone works different with a kernal. mine might run on a 1.3 ghz kernal while your might not.

This is to the jets fan up there. bleedGreen

BB 0.4
Fab's Nextheme
ADWLauncher

After killing everything but better keyboard and Google messaging app, and setting Performance in SetCPU:

P3Droid's LV-125-900Mhz kernel (BB only lets it get down to 250):
Quadrant: 1145
Linpack: 14.32 Mflops (best out of like 10 tries)
Benchmark PI: 1580 ms (best out of like 10 tries)

P3Droid's LV-125-1000Mhz kernel (BB only lets it get down to 250):
Quadrant: 1269
Linpack: 15.8 Mflops (best out of like 10 tries)
Benchmark PI: 1394 ms (best out of like 10 tries)

I put in P3's 1.25Ghz kernel a few days ago, and it got I think around 1500 Quadrant, 25 Linpack, and 1000 ms PI.

Setup has been snappy, smooth, and bugless. I am looking into flashing Chevy's SS FR91 though, but seeing people have problems with it.

Just posting again to say that I've been keeping a fresh nandroid of BB v.04, SS v.4.4, and SD v.6.5 to fully test each. They all offer something great and each seems to have it's own lil quirk somewhere. Right now, I'd have to say my current default is SD v.6.5 simple b/c it's the most smooth for my Droid out of all these. I have not yet tried the newest CM, which I plan on doing later today (or maybe in a few mins, I dunno).

The kernel, however, remains the same: Jake's 1GHz. It was the first kernel to not give me a prob when I jumped to Froyo and still keeps giving me the best results.
