Root What ROM are you loving?

Just gonna ask, I figure I can get a straight answer if I ask around in active threads, lol.

What specific ROM's are unlocking the @!#$ty 30fps cap?
Also, which ones have very few/ no problems aside from what stock 2.2 has without rooting?

Baked Snack comes with a Kernel that has the FPS Capped removed...But all ROMs can have Custom Kernels installed to remove the CAP.....Not sure about CM6 Though

I'm not rooted yet (probably will get to it this weekend) but the two ROMs I'm looking at are BakedSnack and EViO 2 Series.
Calkulins EViO 2 is the bomb! Everything just works and it is snappy as hell! I have tried all the others and I just keep going back to his ROMS.

They are so good I am done trying other ROMS.

Yeah I am also using Calkulins EViO 2. Surprised their is not more people using it. Very fast stable and looks good.
Yeah, Calk was one of the best Rom builders for WM. His Roms were always top of the line solid while also including the latest goodies!

When you install his Rom you can feel pretty good about leaving it on there for a bit......

Guess he isn't as well known in the Android world yet but I am sure he will be.

Planning on rooting this weekend and installing a custom ROM. Leaning towards Baked Snack because it advertises much better frame rate and audio quality on the camcorder (which is one of my major beefs with the stock EVO). I don't see this as a feature of the other ROM's I've checked out, which surprises me. Anyone know if other ROM's support these fixes to video/audio recording?

I'm using Fresh 3.1 with BS 1.5 "I'm trying to find 1.6" if anyone knows where it's at.... I'm loving Fresh, I'm not impress with BS 1.5 it's called better battery but after over night of charging, then this morning I watched about 5 mins of youtube vids, check emailed, listen to VM, played with some settings in the phone and within 4 hrs I went from 100 to 41% I'm using setcpu, I have the off screen set to 245/245, full charge set to 1.15/1.10ghz

Going to try using another kernal and see what happens.

v01rider what app are you using to see the where your device is @
uminchu THANK YOU!

I just got fresh 3.2 so i'm going to install both and see how they do.

I always do a nandroid backup, when you guys add a new ROM do you run nandroid/restore/advance/restore data? I like fresh boot screen but BS 1.6 has it's own. I'm going to try this later but I'm assuming if I just restore the boot I can get the fresh boot screen back?
