Hey Aero,
When you say Apps, are you talking about the apps that came on the EVO or apps from the market?

lol, not the market, apps and widgets with the handset.Hey Aero,

Drexappeal, you do know you have those very toggles in the drop down menu right? GPS, 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, they are all there.
You also have a Touchwhiz version of friendstream that may or may not be the same as the SenseUI version. Reading your description of it, it is exactly the same though. Ah, nevermind, I see you just don't likt the look of it.
LOL...Actually, I didn't even realize that those toggles were available on the drop down menu for the EPIC. I'll check that out. Thanks for the 411. The EVO doesn't have those toggles on the drop down, so I just assumed it was the same.
Yeah, like I said 'bout the "Feed" that's similar to Friendstream, I like the SenseUI version much better as far as looks are concerned. The TouchWiz version is Pink...LOL. Just asthetically not nice looking for my tastes.
I want the Epic because of the screen, speed and keyboard, but Sense UI is a beast! I've had my Hero on Sprint for like a year and its been great since I rooted it, can hardly complain. But a part of me wants a nice bigger screen and a keyboard. I wish HTC would release an High-End Android w/ a qwerty on Sprint, I'd truly be happy then. One of the reasons I'm not exactly jumping the gun on the Epic just yet.
I think once epic gets android 2.2, it will blow the evo away as far as performance, but as it stands now, I prefer the evo, but it would be a tough choice if they both came out at the same time, I do like physical keyboards, and like the fact that the epic has a more powerful gpu for 3d games, I noticed it right off the bat, no pun intended, but I play homerun battle every day, and played it on the epic, and noticed it was smoother, no lag, very crisp, and the colors looked a lot brighter, with that being said, I feel by December, HTC will launch the Evo 2, they have to launch something, think about it, the evo came out in June, by December it would be 6 months since they launched anything high end, my guess is the Evo 2, until that day comes, I will keep Evo
Have both, I choose EPic for now unless EVO camera gets fixed. Oh and battery life is horrible on EPic but I can deal with it.
I really do miss sense, the news widget was a perfect rss reader for espn news, friend stream was great for twitter/facebook, the contacts management was better with the evo, I like how you can go to one person, and see every email you both have exchanged. The GPS is better with the evo, and the browser is a little more versatile with letting you download whatever you want. The evo also had better buttons along the bottom.
I did make the switch to the epic. Where HTC has Samsung beat with software customization, samsung has HTC beat with raw power.
The thing is, HTC only has the Epic beat with software until you start installing things like Launcher Pro Plus, xScope/Dolphin HD/Opera, etc. You can get the Epic to look and act almost exactly like the Evo, you just have to work a little bit for it.
That's the beauty of Android!
