Please list Droid X froyo bugs, problems, glitches

2 things that are bugging me so far:

1) I use WidgetLocker and I now have to slide to unlock WidgetLocker and again to unlock the stock unlock slider. There no longer is a setting to turn of the lock screen under the Location and Security options. If you have a fix for this, please let me know.

2) The haptic feedback vibration is much lighter than usual. Almost feels like the vibrate mechanism is broken but it's fine when receiving calls.

- Market is slow.
- Lost my paid version of Astro File Manager.
- Unable to find apps in the Market, Fandango, History Eraser etc. Tried to install via Appbrain, and will not install the above mentioned apps and a few others.
- Unable to find (or figure out) how to add a pic for my contacts. (I did a factory reset after the 2.2 update. Regretting it now).
- Volume is still kinda meh. Will try to test it out later somehow.
- When turning on the phone, I hear "Droid" twice. When I turn it on, I hear a beep and then "Droid".
- Haptic feedback is weaker, lame.

That's all I can think of for now.

Funny thing is I received a courtesy call from Verizon earlier today. I missed the call, so they left a vm. I will call them back asap. I'm wondering if anyone else got a call?

I'd like to know too! And I've actually heard people complimenting the lesser haptic feedback.

So far I am disappointed but the weird thing is soon after the update things were running great. Suddenly my phone is a turd again and I have the same issues with battery management, 3G, Wifi, screen rotates to landscape and gets stuck, google voice is hit or miss (incoming/outgoing). Facebook doesnt work so great but that isnt a nail in the coffin. Why the heck do my photos get put into "roll" or just a random folder? I have turned on data roaming, and dialed *228 with no luck. My screen is already ridiculously dark and the data manager still lets yahoo mail refresh and update. No telling what other apps are jacked up! So far this phone isnt worth the $200+ I spent plus the money I spent to leave ATT.

Adding contact widgets works, but it puts the image of some random person from your contacts as the image.

I'm having this same problem phone wide - SMS, everywhere. The picture in the contact that updates from Facebook isn't the one it's choosing to display anywhere else...

Anyone know what's up with that?

EDIT - it is at least a picture of the correct person, just not the one on the contact.

My battery (extended) doesn't seem to want to charge. Had it plugged into my work laptop at 50%. Had it this way for 1 hr, and unplugged it, still at 50%! Showed it was charging the entire time. I do this EVERYDAY at work, nothing else was changed between today and yesterday, except for 2.3

Have it on my home charger now, will see if it charges...

A lot of these issues can e cleared up with a factory reset. Then reloading the apps one at a time. Not from a backup.

Sounds like fun! I'd rather go wine to Verizon and get a new phone THEN reinstall everything. If I'm gonna have to do it, might as well get a new phone out of it! Lol. Maybe they won't notice if I don't send the other one back. It happened to my sister! haha

Settings
location and security
set up screen lock
none

These steps should take away the stock lock screen UNLESS you have your corporate email on your phone. Apparently, that feature will not allow the stock lock feature to be disabled.

I'm also having the Music app issue where you open the player, start playing something, rotate the phone to landscape (sideways) then rotate it back to portrait. It freaks out and the whole phone becomes unresponsive for a minute or so. Trying to pause the tunes can take the full minute.

are you using native music app? or are you using pure music? i had same issue as well until i got rid of all 3rd party music apps. hope that helps.

Hmmm :/ I don't have a corporate email, and when I go to "set up screen lock", there is no option for "none".

Weird. It's the first option for me. I saw another post that said if you had the stock one disabled before DLing the update, it would still be disabled. Mine was that way and I was using WidgetLocker prior to the update. I was trying to actually ADD the stock slider to see how it was when I found this set of settings. I will add a screen shot when I get home.

same here. had to do a battery pull already. also when listening to music the app just shuts down. had it happen twice w/ wired & bluetooth headphones. also using bluetooth headphones music cuts out for a second or 2 n turns back on. another issue is w/ the gallery. most of my vids that played before the update won't play at all now. ;(

The ONLY issue I'm having is that scrolling in my app drawer is glitchy (I'm using Launcher Pro), whereas before with 2.1 it was buttery smooth and fast. I initially had the text message issue with the newest one not being at the top, but that seemed to work itself out in a few minutes and now they're displaying newest to oldest as they should. I also thought I lost all my album art when using the stock music player (with Pure Music widget), but again, after just waiting a few minutes, it's all there now. It's as if the system needed a bit to re-load everything after the update.
