Dumping this Droid nonsense.

Droidn said it best

Please remember your dealing with a young lady Fellas..be gentle and lend her a hand if she needs it.If it was my sister or your sister we would want the same for her.

I am sure she had some moments of frustration and gave in to emotions.
Thanks for the kind and supporting words.
I am not attacking anyone, I am just disaapointed that the device is not able to carry out such a simple function. The question about forwarding e mails with attachments have been asked over and over ( do a search )...some have even resorted to contacting motorola. It appears its a defect in the OS.
I have had several emails with .doc or jpeg or pdf attachments that were unable to be forwarded with their respective emails. Today one such e mail cost me a very important account. I almost lost my job since "my phone didnt send the attachment" was not taken as an excuse.
I have searched many threads including :https://supportforums.motorola.com/thread/16986?start=0&tstart=0.......but no one seem to have an answer except that its a defect in the OS.
Thanks to all those who were kind enough to try to help and not be overwhelmed with emotion.
The Droid is just a device, there is no reason for people to jump and blindly defend it as though its a family member or something.

Thanks again and good luck to all.

I'm sorry people are still being so rude. I wish you well.

No, rude, presumptuous and inflaming was the OPs original post. With those kinda of undertones you can expect the replies received.

OP: Droid probably isn't for you. Remember the Android OS is almost 3 years behind Apples "smart" phone and it some ways is already better. It took apple 3 years to get a horizontal keyboard and copy&paste. Either way next time you need help...just ask for it!:)

No. Young lady, young fella. Its all the same. Women can take guff just the same as men. If they can't then they should fall to the bottom of the pile just like men who can't. Equal means equal. Women aren't the weaklings that some people cut them out to be. Give them equal footing as they deserve it.

By your remarks its obvious you have been hurt by a woman and it left you feeling less than the man you think you are.

In Britney's defense, I too noticed that attachments - important ones that I was replying on the Droid to send - did not get sent with my e-mails... I have now installed K9mail, and I don't have the problem anymore... but the OP is right, it IS a defect in the OS that it can't save and/or send e-mail attachments without 2rd party software.

Britney, download K9 Mail, and your problem will be solved... send yourself a few attachments and check them on your computer before attempting to use your phone to send more e-mail attachments for work.

There was really no point in asking about the attachment issue since many have asked. I did many searches and couldnt find a solution except an issue with the OS on the motorola forum.

I will be keeping my phone. The initial outburst was due to the frustration of not being able to carry out such a simple function along with the grief that followed.

I hope this issue gets fixed quickly since many are being troubled by it.

But, we gave you the fix for it... maybe it's an issue with the built in Mail/Gmail app that came with the droid, either way, there is a FREE solution on the market that solves all the attachment issues.

I've had the Droid since launch and have never needed to send an email with attachment. Out of curiousity I just tried it and I figured out 2 different ways to do it in under a minute. Pressing Menu on the Mail app allows you to select a picture to send. Going through Astro allows me to send pdfs, word documents, and zip files. People just aren't putting in the work to learn how to use this phone. Why buy a phone if you're not gonna try to unlock its full potential?

As stated by several above me---I just attached my work schedule and sent it to myself. Upon receiving it I forwarded it to one of my many other email accounts and it was receive with no problem. I will admit that this phone is different than anything I have ever used before but by asking my board brothers questions and reading other questions and answers this thing is as easy as my storm was now. It does have a learning curve but Im not missing anything about the other smart phones Ive had. Good luck tp the OP.

@scheng12: 100% agree, because once you used the iphone (me too) everything is very easy for instance, 1 icon at a time and viola! 1 task is done. And so on.So when come to multitasking they are lost and confused. So they blame it on the phone. That is why iphone doesn't support multitasking and many other features.Ipod with a phone and games even kids can use.Until now, any smartphones with excellence funtionalities are not in the same league as the iphone,it has to be simple like no multitasking.Able to close 1 task at a time to use.
When a awesome smartphone comes along they start criticizing it.Tell them go get yourself a iphone and stopped amusing this Droid community. Please I hope no more iphone comparison.I have a iphone 3g for a year and when i tried the Droid, that was it.I am here to learn more about the droid and please no more iphone before the Milestone launch in canada in early 2010.
