Return Droid?

So i currently have a droid and I'm coming up on my 30 days.

I'm fairly happy with the phone but I would hate to lock in and find that 30 days later google blows everyone away with something 100 times better.

I've asked before how much faster the HTC passion/bravo/nexus would be and it seemed reports seemed to say only marginally so.

I'd love to stick with verizon as I haven't been happy with ATT/t-mobile service in my area.

i'm willing to go a month without my smart phone but I really don't want wait forever.

What is your opinion? Should I return the droid or will it just be a slight upgrade?

Also..I don't think the droid keyboard is very good but I've gotten very used to using it.

I'm torn, If i choose to return I'd have to do it tomorrow. Help me!

Droid is pretty darn good but really lacks in a lot of software areas and nagging bugs, you'd be best served by returning and waiting for 90-120 days for the next wave of handsets instead of being stuck with a subpar overhyped handset for 2 years.

Its not what you can live with..Its what you cannot live without.

If your best bud pops up with the Nexus/Passion will you say to your self...Man, I knew I should have returned the droid,and only you know that answer because you know yourself better than anyone?

If so just return it,no biggie..Good luck

Would you miss the physical keyboard or not? Are you ok without HTC's SenseUI? Everything else, including speed, should be similar.

Is this true that speed will be similar?

From all the forum talk some people give the impression that this thing is going to fly!

As a side note I should mention that I just pulled out my old iPod touch from my drawer and man the droid is slow compared to this.

Apps are more snappy, webpages load quicker on wifi and the browser mand homescreen scrolling us easily 40 pxt faster on this 1st gem iPod touch.

I think I'll miss the droid but I want sense Yi and something snappier oled wouldn't hurt either
