be glad you don't have the iphone with all the overpriced apps that you can't use anywhere except on Apple products. i am sure that plays a big role in why apple can still sell a lot of iphones, cause they are stuck or they lose lots of money in music and apps. plus i heard they are barely getting Skyfire browser, but they have to pay $3.99 for it, free for me.

Long story short, lots of really cool 3D games for android(EVO) only game i hope gets ported over to android is Street Fighter.i will admit, i am jealous of that.

How do you figure? There's around twice as many free apps by percentage on android than on iOS.

Distimo: 57% Of Android Apps Are Free Vs. 28% Of iPhone Apps
And most of those free apps are shiiiiiiiiiiiiiitty.

Generally, if a developer sells an app on iOS for $1 (just about every game I have ever bought on iOS was $1), he will sell it on android for $3. Most games I purchase on android are about $2-4. I have way more apps on my iPod Touch than I do on my android phone because I just don't think it's worth it to shell out all this money for these average apps on android right now.

One element on one website you have found is broken. That is not 'a lot wrong'. However, I agree there can be issues with this phone - mine is the famous lagging issue on the Galaxy S, at the moment. Haven't found much else to fault for my uses, which are quite varied.

'Never be successful'? Woah, harsh. I'd say Android has been really quite successful already as it has grown, and that doesn't show signs of abating. The idea of having hardware choice necessitates that dreaded 'fragmentation'. And yes, it's a factor, many things in life come with positives and negatives. What seems clear is that you prefer the apple and iphone way of doing things. You'd rather be stuck without the options for expandable memory, a smaller screen, etc, and stay with the 'successful' phone system. OK, and I can understand that myself - so why not stick to it instead of gripping about the alternative?

Don't believe everything you read on a forum. From Paid App Availability - Android Market Help

That's just Samsung fluff. You'll find that kind of thing on many, many devices. As far as it goes it's not that bad - they provide a decent paid game for free, I don't think that's something to complain about. Otherwise, you can safely just ignore it.

You misquoted me in your post, I never said that Android would never be successful with gaming, that would be nuts. They are already doing much better but still far behind the App store. They will catch up in the next year of this I have little doubt.

OK - but I wasn't quoting you, I was quoting DNStuff who harnessed your words to say 'Android will never successful'. And disagreeing with him.

Either way - I agree with you that Android gaming is on the up and up.
