No, not really, but I just thought I'd let you know that I finally rooted my Hero and I'm so happy with it again. :D I didn't do the manual rooting like most people have. Yes, I had it really easy I guess thanks to certain apps. I used Z4root and ROM Manager, I did my Nandroid backup and installed this ROM [ROM][UPDATE 10/25] LiquidSense 2.1 Stable|PngOpt|ZipAlgn|Odex|No Bloat - xda-developers. Basically, all I wanted to do is being able to remove some Sprint Apps to free up some space and Wireless Tethering! I'm like a kid with a new toy! xD. Now, I don't feel the need to get a new phone for a while. Thanks to those who helped guiding me in the right direction and the developers Z4root and ROM Manager :D Oh geez, I'm such a loser! jaja.. Anyway, I just wanted to share that :p Now I definately think that it's worth getting a Hero in case you don't feel like paying so much money for a 4G Phone and of course, rooting. Those who are still scared of rooting, now we have easy so no more excuses! :D
