kmart and sylvania tablet

I have seen that it was an ARM 11, 1Ghz CPU. I think that was on slatedroid...

Engadget's psuedo-review treats it as a joke, but then they also state that they really doubt Android Market will be on it. Well, Engadget, NONE of these tablets are going to have the Android Market because Google requires phone capabilities. Seems they should know this before they badmouth a tablet.

can you find out what CPU is in it for us?

I hate to impose on someones job, but it LOOKS like a great deal for my brother, but I want to make sure its at least a step up from the augen and not a slide sideways

i really like my GT78 (ok my wifes), BUT my brother would need something a tad faster, at 512 this could be it, if it has the horsepower

Is going to sound "stupid' but I tried to find on other forums, read about it and I am lost!!! I am going to buy a Sylvania Tablet this coming black friday and I would like to root and "twick" this tablet for better performances but I don't know how. I got this list that I gathered myself from reading around and some post but I have no Idea what to do with them... I got a few already downloaded to my computer but don't know how to install and how to used/setup after. Here is the list:
- Universal Androot
- Root Explorer
- Autokiller (set to STRICT - 60,50,40)
- Advance task killer pro
- Autostart /startup manager/ startup auditor (to block certain apps from starting up at boot)
- Homeswitcher
- Launcherpro
- Battery booster lite
- Memory booster lite
- Wifi toggle widget (to quickly shut on/off - wifi uses to much memory)

I believe some apps does the same thing (just different name)... if that's the case can anybody pointed out?
Except for some that are obvious (Battery booster lite, Memory booster lite, Wifi toggle widget and autostart) I have no idea how to use or setup. I may asking too much but is there any guide on how to root and what
to do after root - installing/setting up these apps above mentioned? As you can see, I don't know nothing about linux, android but I a good follower if there is guide. More that I read, more lost I feel.
I don't mean to fill up this forum by any mean with a lot of guide.... if anybody have a tutorial/guide step-by-step please fell free to email me at naysses@hotmail.com so we keep this forum clean.
Any info will be very appreciated.
Thanks.
