Accessories Sprint carrying extended battery

It depends how you take the pieces off Ive noticed. If you push down in the middle and pull you dont weaken the clasp. I work there as a 2nd job so I just swapped mine out when I wore down the first one. Plus I get those cases with the belt clip for 12 bucks so its a hell of a price for me.

That crystal one looks pretty nice and alot easier to mod for the battery. Hows the clear hold up to scratches? The biggest issue with clear ones I have is they get extremely scuffed up and show after a few days.

Last night our Sprint rep was in and said Sprints due to release a case for the extended battery soon and Best Buy might be getting them. If so Ill be happy as hell and will love this new battery.

keep me posted on that...you might be buying me one too :p

this case is pretty hard core...i'll post some pics this weekend

for those with the seido...be careful...from what I understand that back is a good bit larger than the sprint back. I don't have one to compare but remember the sprint back tapers at top and bottom back down to the stock size

I've had my $10 ebay battery and cover for a couple of months now. I can easily go over 24 hours up time and around 10 hours awake time. Also, my phone with the extended battery cover still fits in my docking station. Best $10 I ever spent. Take a silicone case and cut out a square in the back and then you have protection. If you drop your phone the only thing that will scratch is the ebay battery cover...and they are dirt cheap :D . Battery life is not getting any worse either, this $10 battery/cover are holding up great!!

I gave in and bought the extended battery from Sprint. They had a deal that if you bought two or more accessories you get 25% off each accessory. So with the extended battery, I bought the screen protectors... only cost me like $52 bucks.

I just got done fully charging my stock battery. So now I'm charging the extended battery. I'll report back with my findings.

I don't understand why so many people would buy the sprint battery for $55 when you probably get the same mah with the $10 3500mah battery. Am I missing something here

In my case...5 items off of ebay= 3 of which didn't work and 2 that didn't ship. I have the comfort of a 30 day return policy...and a battery cover that fits inside a standard cradle

it's prolly worth mentioning that this thread was created about the sprint battery. The other batteries have their own respective threads lol

though I always encourage some opinions :)

this thread is intended for the battery from sprint... from my times i have had off ebay buying things for my evo its easier and better to know that i paid more and know it working and if it dont i drive 2 miles and the issue is fix not having to e mial ship wait hope and what else comes from the head problems when i get things off ebay and the time i waste by the end i spend less paying 55 for a battery and get a 30 mbg!!!!!!! so if we could stick to the sprint battery the ppl who come here to talk about the sprint battery and learn about makes it easier for them if you want to talk about e bay batterys here ya go just two of the many you can go to talk about them batterys please keep this to the sprint battery its fine when you talk about both in comparision to each other but not just from them ebay things

So a week with the battery now and I am super pleased with the battery itself. The issue I notice tonight is with both covers. I can not get top corner by headphone jack and bottom on that side to both snap in flush. When top snaps in.....bottom pops out....bottom pops in and top comes out. Anyone else having this issue?

Going to try and go by the sprint store and see what they say...maybe swap covers.

The Sprint 2600 mah is an awesome battery. This is all you will ever need. My phone still fits in my holster and car docking system. I highly recommend it. I am on service calls all day, and this thing just goes, and goes, and goes. (pink bunny beating on drum, enter stage right) :)

Same here! The Sprint battery works great.

Also, if I went with the 3500 mah battery, I would have had to buy a new holster and car dock due to larger size.

22 hours of heavy use is great!!

I haven't searched for it, but obviously the 2600 is a bit smaller than the 3500 battery. Anyone have any side by side pictures?

my grammar sucks...it really should be "22 hours WITH heavy use" 9+hours of use on 22 hours charge....

I know you know what I meant....but someone would have said something lol

Got mine from the Sprint website on Thursday. After a full charge and discharge and another full charge, I am going on over 2 days of use. No, I am not a super user, but I do email, facebook and play my music through it for about 4-5 hours a day while at work. Internet, a little bit of angry birds here and there, check my yahoo fantasy teams. I could not be more please with this battery. Also, you get a black and white battery cover with it. AWESOME!!!

it comes from the same battery maker.

He probably meant QUALITY CONTROL.

The $10 battery may not meet a particular standard, and could have been rejected. It could have then been sold in bulk to someone who then had thousands of EVO back covers pressed and sold it as a package in eBay for $10.

This is all speculation though. Many of the $10 eBay specials are doing pretty good.

With the Sprint battery, one would hope that a higher percentage of them turn out to be really good.
