Well Awake Time is what really matters because thats when your using the phone. With Set CPU and my profile I have of 245 with the screen off, my phone loses only 1-2% overnight while I'm sleeping (granted I only sleep about 6 hours), so Up Time is kinda irrelevant because the phone might be sitting idle with the screen off the entire time....I can get crazy Up Time if I dont use my phone. The guys you see getting 3 days of Up Time are obviously using SetCPU and not using their phone..

how many days did it take for u to get urs exactly. was it exactly 2 weeks/14 days cuz 2moro 4 me will be the 14th day since they shipped out my package

still patiently waiting:)

The seller in the OP has a package that includes an external charger, thats what I bought. I would also recommend buying a docking station with a slot in the back for a extra battery

recieved my package today....my only gripe so far is the fitting of the door looks fine until u check the bottom. its not closed all the way. doesnt hinder it in any way though so i guess im cool :)

Up time? But I never turn off my phone ive had like 50 plus hours with the stock battery bevause I did not use the phone because it was sitting on charge plugged in all that time.

Im still not impressed at all battery life is almost the same as stock around 15 unplugged I need a charge.

The gorilla gadget site appears to be out of both the battery and the charger again.

That is because they have to wait for their next shipment from China. If you compare the pictures on their website to ebay. They just double the price. They look like the same battery and cases. You are better off ordering off ebay. My battery from china only took 7 business days.

My third week with the 3000 mAh batteries is much better now, just do several complete discharge/recharge cycles and it would get better. Went to work around 9:00 am and used the phone as a media player the whole day, did a little facebook, checked my mail, did a few calls and a few txt messages, and at around 7:00pm I still had 77%...

I did notice one battery will hold less charge and that it would be around 50% with the same usage as above. But any battery that will last the whole day will be fine with me. :)

Caloy,
who was the seller that you purchased your batteries from?

Mahalo!:D

Got the batteries a few days ago. I charged them with the external charger, cleared my battery stats and gave the first one a whirl.

So far -1d, 14h, 19s since unplugged and I have 51% charge remaining. I've made about 5 phone calls, texted plenty, chatted on gtalk, around 20 mins of angry birds, browsed, have had wifi on for the whole period. I'm also running CM 6.1 with the default kernel and have juice defender on.

I'm very happy so far, and it looks like recharge cycles actually improve battery life, so things will only get better!

I've had mine for about 5 days now and yesterday when I went to bed the stats read 60% charge left after 15 hours unplugged.

To say I'm pleased would be the understatement of the week.

I now can finally use the phone the way it was intended without having to babysit it and for a mere $20.

I actually like the extra bulk because it is more comfortable to hold and I don't feel like it's going to slip out of my hands.

Seriously stoked about it. It came with two batteries with covers, the fit is flush.

The only negative I can think of is the time it took to ship to me. Roughly 10 days or so.

The shipping took over a week but I couldn't be happier with the fit, finish and functionality of the battery.

I just got my 3000 mAh batteries from ebay/CellphoneAcc10 (took 22 days to get to Florida). One of them seemed to charge in an hour, while the other has been working for 2 hours and is still only about 55% (tho it started at 50%, much as the first one did).

Will report my experience on my EVO. But now I need the external charger, and assume I need one rated for 3000+ mAh. Can someone recommend one that works, at a decent price? Thanks

PS Found THIS charger. Rated at 3500 mAh. I assume I can use that for at 3000 mAh battery, right? the ratings don't have to match?

Sadly, my rubber gel case ALMOST fits over the new battery-back. It just bulges on the sides a bit. Just enough to be unusable. Bummer. Anyone found a gel that fits these bigger backs>

tell me about it! it great just to use the phone! and not think about the battery, i was trying so hard to drain the battery today and just could not do it. seidio is like 70.00
this is 2 for 20.99

I just got my Seido for $49.99 at Amazon. Currently they are going for $53.94 with free shipping.

Have to admit though had I seen this first I might have jumped on it.

I as well see a little shorter life, but I think it's because I watch Top Gear on YouTube at least an hour or two every day with 4G turned on, still get's me through the day though. :)

Oh my! I don't remember, I've been buying lot of things off of ebay that I don't remember which one. But if I were to guess, I think it was cellphoneacc10 but not sure. I'll be willing to bet that everyone that sells the 2x 3000mAh batteries from hongkong would have the same product as the one I've bought mine from. :)
