Why is my wallpaper so huge?

Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me out. I just got my new huawei android phone and I've mostly figured it out and I put a bunch of pics from my computer on there that I want to use as a background/wallpaper. It zooms it in tho and is huge. How do I make it fit the screen?

Its because of the size of the picture. Or i assume so. You a get a wallpaper (for example) that is suppose to fit the size of a comp screen, of course its going to zoom in, because it cant fit the whole picture on your screen.

If im wrong please correct me

I dont know about that. I've tried all different pictures. Not necesarily pictures I've taken, just cool pics from the internet adn stuff and nothing seems to work.

I'm not familiar with that phone in particular but - When you're setting a wallpaper on your phone, a color box (not sure what color - I'm kind of color blind) appears highlighting what part of the picture will be the used for the wallpaper. Try pressing and holding, then dragging an edge of this box to it's largest size.

If that's not the issue, I've seen a lot of people recommend an app that might help. I haven't tried it, so I don't know how it works, but might be worth a shot. Link: Wallpaper Set And Save ~ Android Application v1.1.008 By Onarres Solutions | Tools

I'll try that app altho i thought i did yesterday but my bf was messin with it so i duno.
i want sum flight of the conchords as my wallpaper!!! id like to b able to do it with ne pic tho so if i wanu put personal pics i can as well but I've been trying to get brett and jemaine on there!

Good luck with the app. I can do the one you'd like, but I still need to know what model phone you have so that I can figure out what size to make the wallpaper.

Hmm... That phone appears to have an unusual screen resolution. Try this and let me know how it works. Specifically, what parts (if any) are being cropped out.

just from a different perspective, i have used various themes/wallpapers from apps in the droid market.

upon setting them, when you move from screen to screen, it moves to a different part of the picture. not sure if this is part of your problem but it is something that i noticed.

I've had a Huawei U8100 for a while as well and my wallpapers also always come out way too huge. I'll see if that app helps out with that.
