Hi there,
I've read up about the pink hue that some android phone have and this is not it. I have a Samsung Galaxy S Captivate. I like it a lot and it had a perfect bright, white screen. Until it fell of my lap while I was sitting.
Now, it had an obvious pink artifact over various parts of the screen, usually around the darker parts of the screen, that jumps around.
It's likely a hardware problem? Like something inside the phone is broken? (it looks fine on the outside).
Has anyone ever seen or heard of this? And more importantly, does the phone need to be replaced, or is this something I can fix. Or if I sent it in to be fixed, can it be fixed?
It's an AT&T phone and I'm not with them and don't have a receipt (I got it 2nd hand and unlocked).
Here are some photos to illustrate:
1) see the pink lines? Not pretty.
2) This is my Gmail.
3) In this video, there isn't supposed to be any pink.
Your thoughts and help is appreciated.
