So I pretty much talked my girlfriend out of waiting for the Vibrant 4G and just taking the Mytouch 4G while her upgrade price is $99.

Also I am considering using my upgrade on one too as I don't really need a dev phone because I can't even get JDK to work on my PC.

I can sell my G2 for about $350.

My only question is should I or should I wait for something like the Sidekick?

Also keep in mind since I am always in wifi between home and work I plan on getting the $10 200mb plan to cut down on my bill so HSPA 14.4 will work just fine for me.

I think it depends on whether or not you really want stock or sense, physical keyboard or not. I dig the G2, but when I played with it, I didn't like hinge issue and it was a little think for my taste. The MT4g totally works for my needs- both underrated and killer phones. You could always ask them to put you on the unlimited Android Preferred plan for $20 if you've been a longtime, loyal customer- but if the $10 plan works- awesome.

I had the Mytouch Slide prior to the G2 and honestly I miss the friendstream and gmail widgets. I like having the keyboard but i'm tired of loose hinge issues (the mts and G2 both suffer from it). There really is no need for unlimited data seeing as both me and my girl stay under 150mb a month.

mytouch 4g. I just changed over to it after having the g2. I have had 3 G2s, reason i had so many was every one of them had the loose hinge, so when you tap on the screen you can feel it move and its not tight. I am extremely picky with phones and I can not stand the loose hinge. So i came over to the mytouch 4g and have not looked back. I actually grew to like sense better than vanilla now.
