Help Post FROYO Lag

I was able to get updated to 2.2 last night with only minor issues. Now my phone seems to lag quite a bit and in general the touch screen is WAY less responsive. Navigating web pages is now a huge PITA. :thinking:

Are there any settings to adjust sensitivity? Still running stock TW because tethering doesn't work with Launcher Pro. Suggestions? Thx

I noted some lag issues as well with Froyo. Not sure it is any worse than Eclair, but doesn't seem to be any better.

GPS seems to lock faster though.

I think I've made my decision to skip the official update and go to the new Cognition 4.

Maybe it's a running application problem and not a problem with the OS itself?

I only have lag if I am using all of the available RAM. Other than that mine is plenty fast. How much free RAM do you have?

i have noticed more lag also, but mostly with pre-update apps (angry birds for one). going to give it a couple days for all apps to update and make my final decision on froyo...

My screen isn't as responsive as it was before and it's not a memory issue. I have very few things added from stock.

i'm also noticing that the at&t froyo update seems to have more lag then when i was running 2.1 rooted with the lag fix

There is no "the lag fix". If you were using OCLF's method with 2.1 you were living very, very dangerously.

The official 2.2 update still uses RFS so it's conceivable you'd notice 2.2 to be slower than 2.1 with some sort of filesystem hack applied.

If you want 2.2 without RFS your only option is to use a custom hacked ROM (standard warnings apply).
