I came from a droid and droid X and MOTO makes the coolest nav mounts for their phone. Not those cheap universal ones that sandwich the phone in a clamp, but the real ones where the phone snaps in and is secure. Also in landscape. The moto ones also have the magnets on them in the right spot that make the phone go into car mode when inserted. Does this exist for the inspire yet? I searched and have yet to find a nice one.

I bought the slipgrip mount from ebay. It is made to hold the phone with the otterbox commuter case. It is very secure and the phone snaps in. The phone can turn for portrait or landscape viewing. I really like it. It does not have magnets to put it into car mode. I paid $30 for it. The ebay link is below

Now thats what Im talking about. That is nice and not cheap like those universal ones. Also, is the camera able to see through the case? The reason I ask is I like to take HD video from the dash when I take my car to the drag strip. Its a perfect in car video. And you can mount it to the inside of the side windows too if you want to be able to see inside the car also. Thanks for the link.

I have the Best Buy Platinum case,, which seems to be the same as the Seido Innocase, and looks like the otterbox commuter. Do you think it will fit the same? I'd also like a report after its been down the drag strip a few times to see how well it holds up and holds on. That should be a good test, although my harder driving is at lower speeds but over some very bad roads.

I am not sure if it will fit with your case. You can always buy it and try. Worse case scenario is you can either buy the otterbox case or sell the mount. I bought my case at newegg for $19.99 with free shipping. They also make a mount for the otterbox defender which would be a little bigger.
