OK, have it all set-up. It took a little time, but it is working really nice. I have used both LauchProPlus, GoLauncher and was currently using ADW EX. Here are my takes.
Cons -
-No app drawer all apps show on screens. To clean this up I have created a folder category for all my different apps. This has worked real nice.
-You can not place the apps on screen where you want them. On my home screen I like to have my time and weather widget at the top and a couple of my most used app links at the bottom with nothing in between, however you can't do this the app links go right below the time/weather.
-Some widgets that take up two rows will have other widgets/links cover them up (this only happens on widgets that take up two rows.
-I have nothing in the left dock button and you can't get the dialer there manually.
Pros -
Very snappy, been running it for the last half of the day and I have had no delays or any freezes.
-All widgets that I use seem to work with no problem on this.
-There are some nice widgets that are included, when you go to the screen edit if there is a green arrow you can expand the shortcut to a widget and they are very nice, messaging, gallery, calendar, call log and so on. Would be nice if Gmail would do this as well.
-Their panels are nice, I really like the weather and the calendar is nice.
All-in-all I would give this a pass. I am going to keep as my default launcher for a few more days, but could see myself going back to ADW EX at this point. However for a bata this is a nice product. The big question I have now is what is the price point on this going to be. If they try and go with their $20+ price point on Android I think this will fail. I think the highest price point that will really work is maybe $5. They would have to add some features to this for me to feel that dropping $5 would be worth it. Free however it is nice.
