Rearth ringke first impressions!!!

Cool. Everything is working out well for me. Once I upgrade to this phone that is considered a new contract so I can then get an employee discount for working at Home Depot. I wonder since my dad is in the Army and I have an Army ID can I add that on top. Lol just being greedy. Nexus S4G, patiently waiting.

Oh, & my case has arrived. The Free one that mostly everybody was contacted about. I told you guys it would beat my phone here lol. May 8 smh. I have to say it feels good texture wise. I hope it has a snug fit. I'm still going to get that all white back cover from PDair. A picture of my case below.




It's actually a little darker then that (red whine). The light made it seem blush red.

Wow, they really do ship it fast. They told me they would ship mine on Friday but i never received the tracking info. Hopefully i get mine today or tomorrow, that would be really nice.

It looks like mine came today too. But I wasn't home so I have to go to the post office after work to pick it up.

Really? They wouldn't leave it at your door? That's silly. They left mines at my door. It's not an electronic or huge item. I guess it depends where they could of left it. Mines was in between my screen door and door itself. So you really didn't see it until you opened the screen door. Better safe then never.

Oh, and I meant to say it is darker not "faker" in my last post lol. I corrected it though. It's like a red whine. More so royal red to me.

Does the case attract a lot of dust?
I'm thinking of buying one soon.

I was surprised that they didn't just leave it here. But there are crack heads that live across the street so I guess I'm glad they didn't leave it on my porch.

I just picked mine up. I really like the way the case feels. But it's pretty slick so I feel like it might slip out of my hand. It's really light weight and fits perfectly. I am going to see how I like it over the next week.

Just got mine the other day. I've never really been one to worry about getting a case for my phones, but given the opportunity and considering the value of smartphones these days, I decided to give it a try.

It's a pretty thin case but it does add some noticeable thickness to the phone, especially when handling it. It's a little slick too, though far less slippery than the naked Nexus S. I suppose they could stand to make the material a little more grippy, though it might attract more pocket lint that way.

Speaking of pocket lint, that was one of my biggest worries with a case like this, but so far, I haven't had much issue with it. It does sometimes collect dust and particulates between it and the back plate though.

One other little thing that I didn't really like at first (but have gotten used to) is the way it covers the buttons. You don't really feel them click anymore.

As far as overall protection goes, I have no desire to drop my phone to see how it does. I will say that I doubt this case will offer much in the way of impact protection (as with most cases), but it will protect it from scratches from a tumble on a rough surface.

If I were to buy a case, this is probably what I'd go for; however, since it really only gives marginal impact protection, if I could find one that were made from a similar but more rigid material and a bit thinner, I'd prefer that.
