This is our first post here and so I hope someone can help us.... we must admit that this is not the ideal first post, as its a bit of a moral dilemna we have and fully expect to be flamed (?) for asking this.....
basically our 12 yr old daughter has a HTC DHD (I wish I had one lol!) and we are a bit concerned about some people that she may/may not be texting. There have been a few issues with some of her friends, and so we would like to know who she is getting sms from, and who she is sending them to. We dont really want to see the content, just who they are coming from/going to. I know its awful, and we have dont know if we should be "spying" on her, but we feel we need to in order to protect her and ensure she is not being bullied. We have tried speaking to her, but being almost a teenager she is of course very independant and in that 'leave me alone' period of life!
is there anyway that we can install an app on her phone that will give us an indication of who she gets sms to and sends to, perhaps by sending us an email with a report? Obviously we wouldnt want her to know its on her phone.
if anyone can reccommend a way to do this it will be appreciated. She is protective about her phone when its with her and no doubt deletes everything, but we just need to be sure that she isnt receiving sms from a couple of particular numbers and then replying to them.
