The topic for early upgrade comes up quite a bit.. So, I wanted to share my experience in the event it may help someone. As of 6/1, I was due for an upgrade Sept. 1st; however, I called telesales to see if I could get an early upgrade since my moment is on its last leg. Anywho, the lady on the other end of the line was more than happy to help me, without having to feed her a sob story about my phone dieing or threatening to cancel, and five minutes later the phone call ended. She stated it could take up to 4 hours for the changes to take place; however, 90 minutes later I received two text message stating I was now eligible.
Amazon wireless has the S for 99.99$ and the Mart has it for 139.99. I went through Amazon, carrier approved the upgrade, charged account and I will have the S in 2 days.. for 100$.. not too shabby..
So for anyone else looking for the early upgrade.. call telesales! I am not only posting this for the price Amazon and Mart has the phone for sale but I have read numerous posts stating Sprint will only push the upgrade date up 30 days MAX - most stating only 2 weeks..
