There's nothing for him to Kang here if he built it own his own. There's also no need for this knee jerk reaction; it doesn't do much for our "community". If you don't like his work, don't flash it.
My problem with it is the guy is utterly careless when it comes to acknowledging the work of other people. He either deliberately stole Fab's work or simply was dumb enough to not even ask where all of those APKs came from. He posts up this ROM calling it a beta of "Drew Garen's CyanMod" when it's not a beta of anything, it is CM4DX with the banner modified to say something different. No acknowledgement. Then he posts things like "I have the camera fixed in the next release" - not "I have <user's> fix included in the next release - thanks to him."
It's just all about how he spins everything. Look at BroodComb for the Nook. "Ripped apart CM7 and added DG features." He pre-installed the gapps and a launcher, then themed it.
It's the way he operates. Removing a bunch of bloat files and adding a theme doesn't make something a "new ROM." It makes it a theme. So call it what it is instead of making it sound bigger. If I took the base .596 and remove the bloat but leave the Blur apps, I don't release a zip and call in BinaryDroid 1.0. And I don't then remove the Blur apps and replace the camera and launcher with AOSP, then call it AndroidVisions 1.0. At best, it's completely disingenuous. At worst, it's simply dishonest, and it denigrates the work of people who are actually doing work.
I don't know what you do for a living, but wouldn't it irk you if you were a firefighter, and someone claimed they were a firefighter, too, because they dumped a bucket of sand on their campfire last week?
