Help After 2.3.3 Update, Camera Issue

There seems to be a minor change with the way the camera works after the 2.3.3 update. Before the update when using the camera in a dimly lit room, I would focus on an object, press the shutter and then the flash would come on for 2-3 seconds and the screen would light up showing the object I was shooting. After the update everything works the same except when you press the shutter, the screen stays dark. The problem the dark screen causes is the inability to make a slight adjustment like centering the object you are shooting in the 2-3 seconds while it is focusing on the object. Has anyone else noticed this change?

Yes that's new too. Along with reboots if you use the flash frequently. I have had random reboots using the flash in dark situations. Even had the camera app freeze occasionally too. Hopefully a fix is in the works. These things didn't happen prior to the GB update.

I didn't know if it was an update problem or a problem with my phone. Hopefully there will be a fix soon. Thanks.

My camera reboots my Evo 4G almost everytime I take a picture with the flash on. This is very frustrating. Has anyone heard of a fix for this yet?

I've got around 500pics on my phone. I thought maybe I was pressing the limit even though I still have 10GB free on my Class 4 16GB Sandisk Micro SD card, but now I see that it must be related to the last update...

you might want to try a hard (factory) reset. just keep in mind you will lose everything, if you do. other then that, you may want to take it in and have sprint take a look at that.

There's no way I'm going to do a Factory Reset, unless there's some backup/restore utility that I can use to put all the data and settings back, but then I may have the same problem (if the bug is coming from one of my settings).

If anyone else that reported this issue before me in this thread has already tried resetting their phone, please let me know if it worked for you.
Thanks!

In addition to the original problem, with the screen turning dark while it focuses on the object you are shooting, I also am having the issue with the phone rebooting after I take several pictures. I haven't done a reset yet since I'm not sure that would be a sure fix. I wonder if there is a chance of getting a maintenance update to correct this problem?
