Generally speaking, I'd steer clear.

I've had a few experiences with higher capacity batteries and they never really cut the mustard.

This is HTCs flagship phone, if they could have put a bigger battery in, they would have.

Yeah just like how HTC is known for putting a lot of onboard storage on their "flagship" phones. 2GB (1.09 after sense) is hardly sensational.

As the above poster mentions there are some other batteries out there. It's always great to have a spare battery.

Considering a lot of apps are under 1MB (the highest I've seen is Angry Birds which is about 30MB), 1.09GB is more than adequate. That's why you get SD Cards ;)

FWIW, Samurai Vengeance 2 is ~43MB, Big Time Gangsta is 50MB, Need for Speed ~140MB, and Contract Killer is over 230MB. Some of those "1MB apps" are just conduits to download additional software, and 1GB can get used up pretty quickly, if one is into that sort of thing. My N900 (Nokia flagship at the time) came with 32GB of "on-board" storage, and I never got around to buying an SD card for it...but I digress.

I've had good experience with Seidio extended batteries (generally accepted as having a quality product)...there is usually a 1:1 correlation between increase in mAh and run time (given my normal use). However the Seidios were typically 30-50% higher capacity than others. Mugen is also considered one of the more "eputable 3rd party mfgs.I'd be wary of the "$5 battery" ads on ebay, etc., given that cheap/poorly designed batteries have a higher potential to fail, and catch fire.
