Will look to ditch my noreve case soon, I've already had to break the tab off so as to avoid it rubbing the finish off of the phone every time I close it.
Hopefully I will find something that protects and covers the camera and screen (I haven't used the camera apart from some initial tests to compare to my old phone's 8 mpx, so I don't need easy access to it)

Might go for a diary style case if it's made properly (top or bottom of the front flap should not skew out and away from the phone due to the closure's hold).

Hate gel cases. They are sticky and attract dirt.

CaseMate "Barely There" is what I use. Not a lot of drop protection but it keeps phone small!

I have the Otterbox commuter, quite happy with it, doesn't really add any substantial thickness to it, adds a bit of weight, which I actually like. Didn't bother adding the screen protector....could using one help with fingerprints or sunlight reflections?

It fits perfectly. Such high attention to detail, and the texture is like nothing I've ever experienced. It's not sticky or slippery. It's like silicone, but it doesn't collect dust or dirt like my other cases. Probably the best case I own - especially for the money. I bought it right off their site since Amazon was sold out.

Just got a 'CaseMate Tough' case for my Galaxy S2. Really good case, decent grip, and the edges are raised to prevent the screen touching anything if placed face down. Not cheap at

Has anyone had problems with thebcase mate and otterbox cases where the oyther person would complain of their voice echoing. I fiund that when the case is on yhe silicone hole around the lower Michael is too small. So actually making it larger or cutting that area out completely will rectify the iasue. Also turning off noise reduction every call will too.

Came up with a compromise, I'm going to cut off the front flap of my noreve case (conveniently, right where they stitched it on, so I won't get wear eating away at where I cut had there been no stitches, and it will look neat) and keep the back part of the case+phone inside a neoprene case/holder I've ordered.

Also get a win as now the multifunction jack will be easier to access.

I have the Otterbox Commuter - no problems so far with call quality. I'm very pleased with the case indeed.

I got an SGP Argos in black for my S2 and I'm very pleased with it.

It wasn't cheap but the quality is top notch and the non-magnetic catch is completely smooth and hooks over the top of the phone easily.

Looks and feels great, very classy!

I had a magenetic case for my short-lived Nokia N97 <shudders at memory>. I could never work out why the battery was always flat. It turned out that the N97 camera was turned on by moving the magnetic lens cover; putting another magnet nearby fooled the N97 into thinking the camera cover was open and so it was constantly powering the camera. Doh. I've avoided magnetic cases ever since.

Great looking cases, rikki_sun!

I have the Otterbox Commuter and am very happy with it. Don't seem to have the call-echo problem (No one has complained anyway); if I had to fault it at all then the hard-body part of the case is a little slippery - but you quickly learn how to hold it securely!

Spoke to Max at Otterbox today and learned that the GS2 case they have now is not intended to fit the AT&T version, with the buttons slightly off. He didn't say if or when Otterbox would make a case for the AT&T version, but he did mention that he's had many calls already today, asking for it.

I bought a Predator Zero case - shadow black and carbon. Looked great but sent it back for full refund for 2 reasons:
1 Too slippery - how many times did it almost fly out of my hand!
2 No drop protection as its rock hard.
