FIDigger, you've bumped a thread that is quite old.

Currently, there is one custom kernel that is being actively tested for CyanogenMod 7.2. This kernel is not yet recommended for the average user as it will break some functionality on your phone. If you wish to follow it just find the thread mentioning [EXT-4] Kernel and Recovery.

Currently, this kernel does not YET support overclocking, as nobody is yet sure just how powerful our phone can go. It has been speculated that possibly our processor comes to us overclocked which may mean 800 MHz is the theoretical max.

According to pdadb, 800MHz is the stock CPU clock, with 1000MHz being the theoretical max. Once CM7 is stable, I will get to work on an OC kernel, but not before. It's definitely in the works though.

It's definietly overclockable, my prevail is OC'ed at 900mHz and it's 800 stock... there will have to be a specific kernel designed for overclocking, but I am sure that can be made pretty quickly... people are actually overclocking ours at about 946MHz and not running too bad... but I think 1000 MHz might be pushing it... but I am not saying it's not possible... just may not run as stable.... and my phone basically has the same processor as the Admire in my Prevail... but can't wait to see this happen for you guys! :D

Ok so I tried 946 and here is results... maybe this will get the inspiration going!
