Help Lock screen widget wont uninstall

I downloaded the lock screen widget from the market today. However, I do not want it anymore and I cannot remove it, keeps saying 'Unistall not successfull' Anyone any ideas how to get rid of it?

Try Android assistant
Download Android Assistant(12 features) for your Android phone on AppBrain

It has an uninstall function and is generally a very usefull one.
But its strange you cannot uninstall it...

There are apps in Market that specialize in uninstalling.

But that issue can usually be remedied by going into the application manager to uninstall the app/widget.

Menu > settings > applications > manage applications.

I have an app uninstaller, doesnt do it and have tried it going to settings and manage applications and none work.

I found this at the app site:

"Before uninstalling widget make sure to disable admin permissions in Location & security > Select device admin > Lock Screen Widget."

This should work but doesn't for the LG Optimus and several other devices. For whatever reason it is impossible to remove it from Device Administrators thus making in impossible to uninstall. The developer is well aware of the issue but has failed to address the problem as far as I can tell.

if you are rooted then use titanium back up to uninstall.
It works 100%
