TMobile has tweeted this morning that they won't be getting the Galaxy Nexus.

Looks like I'll be changing networks again

Have you tried working out what it would cost to buy outright, unlocked vs. on contract? To be honest I haven't lately, but did a couple of years ago when I bought my Nexus One and assuming you can get a decent SIM-only deal it works out extremely similar over 2 years, and you're free to change carrier (and phone) whenever you like. If you like the phone enough to keep it longer than 2 years you start getting into quids-in territory.

You mean previously they said you'd be able to get the phone for free, i.e. before the tweet.

In which case that claim was utter bullshit and you can't base the costings on it. If they were getting the Nexus then on your tariff of

Sorry, should have made myself clear. TMobile have a deal with Carphone Warehouse whereby if CPW stock the phone TMobile will offer it to upgraders. Should mean I get it unlocked as well

All my numbers still stand true.

Even Phones4U are offering the phone on Orange with 400minutes for
