Hi,

I installed ClockworkMod recovery on my phone. i immediately backed it up and then rebooted my phone.

However, i noticed some apps were now missing and my sd was empty. so i went back into hboot and cwm and restored. Now the hboot says no images were found on the sd card and when i reboot phone to use as normal it just hangs on pink/red circle so i cant get into the phone anymore.

I cant even access the phone through a usb connection using windows vista 32bit.

before i get flamed, in my defense i'm pretty good with tech and computers and have followed instructions to a T.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated - i just need to have a useable phone again. would factory reset acheive this?

many thanks.

OK.
Iv managed to mount the phone via CWM recovery and have backed everything up onto the computer.
However, when i try to mount the sd card it states that no files are found and i cannot access it on my pc. any ideas?
So, is there a way to update via usb connection and where would i place the file.

HBOOT also saying no images found when i boot to it.

do you think the problem might be that there is no ROM on there? IF so i cant work out why this would be as the stock (froyo) could be accessed after after i installed cwm.

the only reason i think its gone wrong is because i restored through cwm ... and i think the restore files must have been corrupt.

i would really apprciate any help in getting my phone up and running again.
cheers
