I am owner of a new Galaxy S2 and i was running on 2.3.5. After the update process with Kies i found a problem that is breaking my nerves.

I am explaining.

At the applications pages i moved and i categorized all my applications in 7 pages and i saved them.
Now after a reboot i noticed that the applications at the pages 6-7 moving in page 6. I know that is not a major problem but i am believing that is a bug or i am making something wrong. If anybody knows how can i solve the problem i will be very appreciate to him!

My Model phone is
GT-I9100
2.3.5 Android Version
I9100XXK14 Baseband Version
2.6.35.7-I9100XKWKJ2-CL676699 root@DELL144 #2 Kernel Version
GINGERBREAD.XWKJ2

Thanks for yout time

Hi Djpasas,

I had the EXACT same problem when I updated, it affected both my windows and any changes I made to the dock.

The way I solved it was doing a factory reset (go to applications, privacy, factory reset) and completely wipe the phone. Obviously make sure you have everything backed up beforehand.

When your phone restarts you'll still have your updated 2.3.5 firmware, but the problem should be gone.

Hope that helps.

I applied this fix for another problem and now I'm having the problem described by djpasas above. My original problem occured when I updated the firmware immediately out of the box using Kies and had a problem whereby homescreen shortcuts could not be changed and buddies could not be added to the homescreen pages (it would work initially but revert after a restart).

Now I'm having the problem exactly as described above. I've attempted the reset a number of times and amended the order of apps on the app pages only to have the order revert following reboot. I've tried to move the apps around with and without backing up saved data to the phone and nothing seems to make any difference.

Phone Details:
GT-I9100
Android: 2.3.5
Baseband: I9100BUKI1
Kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100BUKJ3-CL647431root@DELL155#2
Build: gingerbread.bukj3

Any help would be very much appreciated!!
