Reset Clear Cache ???

Well I figured it out before anyone else could reply'

1. Turn your phone OFF.
2. Press on the Volume UP button and the Power button at the same time.

After the Reset screen appears you use the volume rocker up/down to select what you want to do.
Reboot Bootloader
Reboot
Recovery
Power Off

Select what you want and press the Power Button. It will then perform your selection.

Not many options there, and I just selected recovery to hopefully get another menu, but it appears it is going to reload my phone, shucks! Well, I guess I'll have a fresh phone to work from again, a bit of a bummer, I didn't even get to copy things down, but I was doing this just as I rebooted phone. I just figured it would have given more information before just going into the reset. Lesson learned, just wish there was more information about it before I did it, I mean, aside from our ventures. Thanks for the reply. I was stuck on pressing both at the same time.

Don't know what I did, don't think I did anything really, what do I need to select?

After I pressed the power button on the recovery, it just had the andy bot and exclamation point and froze there. What selection do I need to clear the cache? Thanks! A bit spooked, don't want to start everything over....not something I am fond of.

When you first come to the recovery screen it will be on Reload Bootloader make sure it's highlighted by using the volume up/down. Select it and press the power button. It will flash so quick you will not notice it did anything.
Then scroll to select Reboot or Shutdown. Either way it's done and you can use your phone again.
Sorry you selected Recovery and it wiped the phone but the same thing happened to me. I was lucky as I had not loaded anything onto the phone yet.
It's a practice of mine to take video/photos of anything I do to use as a reference point if I screw things up.
If it freezes at any point just remove the battery and re-install it.

Oh sure, I understand, yeah, I didn't wipe it thankfully. So I am back to wanting to clear just the cache heh. So reload bootloader should cure it I hope, and I'll give it a try here shortly. When I did the selection on recovery, it just hung on a screen with the bot and the exclamation point triangle. It didn't do anything until I did a combination of like the power and volume up button and then it booted up just fine. I was worried at first because the screen was blank and the service said no service, so I thought it was wiped. But then it all loaded with my normal wallpaper and all. I'm trying to do this clear to hopefully get rid of this lag sometimes that develops on the launcher that it ends up wanting to force close. I also get persistent java.lang.nullpointerexception messages that flash on the screen, and it doesn't seem to matter what I am doing, but it usually seems to happen around the time that the launcher wants to get flaky, laggy and unusable. Thanks for writing back, I'll try that step.
