This has probably already been covered.
Verizon's flag ship is the "Droid". Whenever advertising is released, it's mostly the Moto Droid with maybe another device as a side line. The Galaxy Nexus is to be released with no branding and almost no Verizon bloatware.
The Galaxy Nexus has no Verizon connection except that they are going to sell it.
The phone means nothing to them and neither does ICS, which does nothing for them, except to allow the disabling their software.
I think we'll see a roll out by Verizon that says " Oh, here's another Android phone ". Just another phone.
It's a big deal to Samsung and to Google, but not to Verizon
