can't seem to find an answer on here about how to actually play music through bluetooth on my car stereo. i have my phone and head unit paired but can't seem to understand how to get the music to actually play through the head unit. if i try and play music on the phone (either with the htc music app or mixzing) the sound just comes out of the phones speaker. all the threads on here seem to make it out as its a simple thing to do. my head units owners manual doesn't cover using bluetooth to stream music just how to make/recieve calls.

You'll want to make sure that the head unit is properly connected to your phone. In Settings > Wireless & networks > Bluetooth settings make sure your headunit says "Connected to phone and media audio". It's possible your head unit simply can't play music through BT, so look online to see if anyone else has had issues/success.

thanks, finally found one obscure posting on some forum about my unit. i guess i should have reserached the head units more as the one i got supposedly does not support streaming music through bluetooth. still have the line-in and usb ports so all is not lost.
