True, and I guess in overall usage, depending on the amount of darks/blacks, this could mean better battery life.

Speaking of, what brightness level do you all use? I tend to use 20% on my Dinc (amoled) screen, unless I'm outside in the sunlight. Then I use 100% (and can still barely see the screen haha).

Guys I have been told twice in the last 2 days that the 15th was the date by corporate employees. I'm still having a tough time believing it though. I guess it is just tough to believe since the 9th looked so promising.

I have used one in a corporate store so I know they exist and they are indeed very nice so I'm gonna hold out no matter how long it takes.

I just wanted to see what everyone else was thinking and if who really thought we would see it this week?

hey guys, im a junior in highschool and i have to write a perssuassive / argumentative letter for eng 3 hrns. As you could probably guess i am going to write mine to the public relations management team at verizon about the lack of communication between the corporate level of verizon and its customers about the release of the galaxy nexus. anyway would you guys be interesting in taking a look at what i write and possibly giving some suggestions. thanks.

Floating is best achieved with a shadow/highlight effect. The icons would need rerendered for best effect.

Save power? Some. Determining how much will take some time.
