Stuck at Work Thread

Anyone else waiting for work to finish so you can pick it up? I called my local store and Joel put one aside for me. Can't wait to pick it up and play with it tonight.

Two and a half more hours!

I went out on my lunch break... forewent lunch... and picked the phone up instead. Glad I did!

I stopped while traveling from one location to another and picked mine up this morning. Now I'm at work and have only weak 3G signal to keep me company. Can't wait to get home.

The stores here in Richmond were taking reservations to get one. (Don't know if they ended up that slammed or not.) I happened to be driving to a meeting this morning, was running early, so "Navigate to Verizon Wireless," and peeled off the next exit to a little retailer who had them. It was the last thing my Incredible did for me.

It was a good companion.

Still at work as well. Was going to go during lunch, but called this morning and one of the reps put one to the side with my name and number on the box. Said it would be there waiting when I got off work at 5pm.

I am at work. My husband's schedule was more flexible, so he went to get the phone (45 miles away). I called to double check the midwest promos last night, and after a few phone calls, it was confirmed by two different people, including one at the store where he was going. He got there, and the promo was NOT on my account. GRR! Finally after much investigation, the national VZ people said they would honor it since two people in their offices said I was eligible. BUT, they would not honor it in the store, they would have to send me one. They said it won't arrive till Tuesday. GRRR!! I've been in a nasty mood ever since. Even through a Christmas program with my smallest class this morning, through a Christmas lunch with my staff, and I am just glad that I didn't have a class to teach this afternoon! ;o) COME ON TUESDAY!!
Need to just CHILL! It's JUST A PHONE! Right?

Same here. I was planning to go at lunch, but got busy. Thankfully it's waiting for me.

I know how you feel. I'm going to Disney World next week and want my phone with me for the pictures/videos. Plus to show off to the in-laws. I would hate if I missed out on it.

stuck at work, called my stores, all gone even though they said they would hold one for me.

so i ordered online, should be here tomorrow, hopefully the apartment office people can sign for me while im at work.
