How can Android read contact info sent from iphone?

Hi there,

Need some wisdom here, im normally such a calm individual but this is making me want to smash things up!

I need this number that someone has sent me, via sms from an iphone, all the message has is a download button with 1Kb next to it, and pressing it does jack. I cannot get this number any other way, the guy who sent it is now uncontactable, and i need it pretty urgently.

Please please please anyone know how the hell do i read this thing!

HTC desire running cyangenmod 7.0.2.1 with stock sms app.

Edit: On further inspection seems the phone has classed the contact file as an MMS, have tried spoofing my phone as another type to download, still with no joy.

1. Forward it to another phone and see what happens.

2. Forward it to you email and see what happens.

3. Download another sms/mms app from the market such as handcent. See if it'll get it to start the download.

Often MMS messages are stored under you account on some carriers - you may be able to get to from there, to re-send it to yourself, as ScorpDX suggests, for use with Handcent.

I had the same issue. I saved the contact and found it on ext4ernal sd card in one of the folders. Saved that file to contacts and it worked.
