EBook Reader or Android Tablet

Looking for either an Android Tablet or an e-Book reader. My wife wants one and she thinks I dont have the money. Ive got $63.43 exactly in my Paypal account. I may be able to bump it to $75. Doesnt need to be anything spectacular and obviously used is fine provided it was well taken care of.

I will not pay as gift nor cover paypal fees as it is against Paypals TOS. I will also not send money first if you dont have a substantial reference history. I can provide a substantial history from various forums as a buyer/seller/trader pending a deal.

Let me know what you have.

While paying as a gift is against their TOS, I don't understand what you mean by saying paying the PayPal fees is also against the TOS...

If she's looking for just an eReader, I would really recommend spending another $10 and getting her a cheap Kindle. Those are $79, or you can probably find them cheaper on eBay.

Actually, you are not correct on the "fees". A "handling fee" can be charged as long as that fee is not above the actual PP fee.

Secondly, you are correct that accepting/sending payment as a "gift" when its paying for goods or services is against the Paypal ToS. There are also no protections when sending gift payments as you probably already know.

That said, I'd save up and get her a Kindle Fire. Its much more than an e-reader for not much more cost. My wife has one and its a NICE little device.

FYI:

No Surcharges. Under Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express regulations and the laws of several states, including California, merchants may not charge a fee to the buyer for accepting credit card payments (often called a "surcharge"). You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as payment. This restriction does not prevent you from imposing a handling fee in connection with the sale of goods or services, as long as the handling fee does not operate as a surcharge (in other words, the handling fee for transactions paid through PayPal may not be higher than the handling fee for transactions paid through other payment methods). Nor does this restriction apply to Pound-denominated transactions by sellers residing in the United Kingdom listing items for sale on a UK-based website.

"Personal Payment" means amounts sent between two individuals (not to or from a business) without a purchase. Examples of Personal Payments include sending a gift to a friend or paying a friend back for your share of a lunch bill.

When I say this I mean dont ask me for a price + paypal fees. Its against their TOS to ask for the paypal fees. If your going to give me a price give me the price + the fees as a total.
