Root Amon Ra based touch recovery

--standard "not my work, just passing along the android love" message here--

New recovery apparently built off Amon's source code...

Any takers?

I think ill try it out when my phones done charging :)

yeah its been out awhile. I've been using it some have issues with it I only had an issue with restoring a compressed backup. however doing a reboot and going in to recovery and clearing cache and dalvic fixed the issue. (Phone actiing like it was the first run)

What is the advantage to using Amon vs ClockworkMod?

Amon is flat out a much better recovery than clockwork. With clockworkmod there are rough times with the recovery not wiping properly, and this causes a lot of issues with ROMs.

Also, Amon Ra supports both types of scripting, which allows you to flash things like Superwipe to make sure the required parts of the phone are clean before flashing a new ROM. Clockwork only supports one type of scripting.

Its just the recovery to use for the EVO.
