And to confirm - create an additional user in your profile, should you have more than 2 devices wanting Sky Go. This works for home-users - if you only subscribe to Sky Go and do not have a regular Sky Package, then it won't work and for once, I agree with Sky's thinking here, it shouldn't. You can create up to 10 users allowing you to have 20 devices !!!
Just tried this and it's working fine. The cat might also have to be added to the users at some point I think. Thanks :)

Hi, i'm usung XWLA4 on my sgs2, i downloaded SkyGo yesterday and it would not work as i have root, so i down loaded Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper, all you have to do is hide root to get SkyGo working, and unhide root when done with Sky

It really is not that simple for most folks. I am glad you have got it working without flashing back to a Stock kernal, but unfortunately you are in the minority. Most people need to flash their kernal back to stock and then use Voodoo as you describe. More often than not they also need to use the skygo_test.apk too - check out the compatibility chart in my above post and check out the App thread over at xda

Not really sure how this works? My parents have sky at home and have signed up to Sky Go. I logged into her account and created an additional account for me. I registered my phone on the new account but it shows as a device on my mums account?

Hi

It seems Sky are trying to stop the additional user workaround: -

"Not only have sky stopped the idevice jailbreak from working they have also started to close the extra user device loophole, It happened on Thursday as both users now have the same 2 devices registered. This is all being done under those Famous Words " Contract Content Providers""

[APP] Sky Go for Android - Page 100 - xda-developers post 998

And I have learnt that reverting to a Stock kernal to get this app working, whilst preserving your root, loses the ability to backup and restore using CWM and or Rom Manager :(

Hopefully a better solution will be on the way soon!
