Root Lean, Fast, Sense-Based Rom

Been running CM7 for a while, and GPS has conked out and I can't seem to get it going again. Works when I flash a Sense ROM, but even trying to use the CM GPS fix, I can't get it to work when running CM7.

Anyway, I need GPS so it looks like I've got to use a Sense-based ROM, but I'll likely end up overlaying ADX or Launcher Pro, so I want something that is as barebones as possible -- taking up as little space and running as fast as possible.

Any recommendations?

Dudes... This is the only gps fix for aosp that you need. AOSP gps locks better than sense for me.

Is this the Qualcom drivers? I heard those worked the best, I really can't seem to stay on AOSP roms long enough to really get annoyed with the GPS. The Hero days, I ran AOSP, rock solid. ;)

Yeah....Still waiting anxiously for tommy to get his OTA out.

I think No-Limits is built off of tommy's new optimized base.

There are a lot of people waiting for Tommie's new one. :D Between that and Mik G's it's going to be a good week I think.

I don't think he's released his new one based on the Optimized Base. NoLimit orginally made it from the OTA of 4.67.

Tried this prior to posting this thread, but couldn't get it to work, either. Oh well, running Tommy's senseless now, and it's working great. Had the occasional spontaneous restart after I first flashed, but they don't seem to be an issue any more.

Thanks, though!

P.S. M-I-Z!!!

Partitioning your SD card does wonders my friend :D. It enables all your apps to be completely moved to the SD card as well as the dalvik cache

sorry, i mistook the 50 MB as in that's how much system RAM the phone was using, which made no sense to me because sense or go launcher + a couple of apps would push that over 50 MB in a heartbeat.

50 MB of storage though, that makes more sense now. thanks.

I don't currently have dalvik on SD but I have moved it in the past and it always worked fine on my class 10.

Just kinda browsing this thread, how do you move dalvik to sd..scratch that...think I found it..(terminal emulator..type su..type a2sd cachesd..).
..and why would you move dalvik there...to gain more internal memory?
