Help Just Bought a Pair of Primes

My wife and I had iPad 1st Gensm hers was a 16GB and mine a 64GB. I hated them. I hated having a $700 device that can view Flash web pages. I hated being locked down to Apples software and App Store, I hated their proprietary file formats and that Windows won't natively play Apple formats and vice versus.

I dumped them over the weekend, sold the pair for $700, not oo bad I guess. Today I bought a pair of Asus Transformer Primes 32GB and a couple of 32GB Micro SDC cards for $1,064 out the door. My wife and I both have Android phones, Dr4oid Razr Maxx and hers is an HTC Resound, so we both already know and love Android and ICS.

My question is about music/media players. As much as I hated Apple, I love iTunes... or should I say I am invested in iTunes. I have spent (like most of us I'm sure) thousands upon thousands of hours cleaning and perfecting my iTunes library, fixing tags, applying correct album art, etc. Has anyone else out there switched from iOS to Android and found a good iTunes alternative? To be totally honest, I would love to completely dump iTunes and rid my PC and life of all things Apple but I hate to loose the work I did. I tried doubleTwist but the desktop player really kinda sucks in my opinion. Poor sorting options and hard to fix files.

What else is out there?

I've only bought one track of iTunes, there are loads of ways of buying music without using itunes.

Can't say i've ever looked into syncing media files, I just copy files over as and when I need them from my PC over wifi, or if the files are big just use the sdcard.

That's what it's for, makes things very easy.
